New airline - new scheme - old plane

Suddenly it appeared at Ft Lauderdale - parked over by National Jets - something that I haven't seen before - and - it turned out - a brand new airline - Fly Jamaica Airlines - with it's plain but interesting scheme. The airline plans to fly from Kingston, Jamaica to Georgetown, Guyana, New York and Toronto. The plane itself is an older Boeing 757-200 that previous served with ATA (callsign AmTran).

A really nice special catch for me...

hey there, love reading your blog.
Guess what? It's Jan. 20th and Wiki still hasn't done an article on Fly Jamiaca! Do you know what the ICAO and IATA idents are?

Nice article! Two questions. First, would you have any idea if Fly Jamaica plans to operate mainly Boeing 757s and how many they'll get?
Next one. Do you know if the plan is to have it become a low-cost airline? I thought I might ask. I'm a Boeing 757 freak by the way :)

When once you have tasted flight you will always walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward: for there you have been and there you will always be.

I love 757s. I already made a Fly Ja livery for the Quality Wings 757 in FSX
